Jackeline
Rago
Cuatro, Mandolin, Bandola and Percussion
Jackeline was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She is a multi-
instrumentalist, composer, arranger and educator who
specializes in the Cuatro (the national string instrument of
Venezuela) and the Afro-Venezuelan percussion instruments.
Jackeline is currently the musical director of the Venezuelan Music Project and she has been a recipient of the prestigious CAC Artist in Residence
Grant
of the State of California. During her Artist in Residence term (1989-2001)
she
established the only traditional Venezuelan music workshop in the State.
Jackeline has recorded and toured nationally and internationally for over
20
years. She is considered a leading force in the promotion of Venezuelan
music

Donna
Viscuso
Flute and Alto Saxophone
Donna was born in New Haven,
Connecticut. She began
her musical studies on piano and later switched to woodwinds
in high school. Donna has toured nationally and internationally
with the groups Wild Mango and The Blazing Redheads.
She also has recorded and performed with the groups Altazor,The Venezuelan
Music Project as well as Brazilian singer Adriana Moreno and Chilean singer
Lichi Fuentes. Donna has also participated in The San Francisco Symphony's
"Adventures in Music Program" for the past three years, performing
for over 150 elementary schools in the San Francisco area. Her compositions
and arrangements can be heard on numerous recordings, including film scores
and children's educational CD ROMs.

Saul
Sierra
Bass
Bassist Saul Sierra is a Mexico
City native and a graduate of
Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, majoring in
performance. He studied under Oscar Stagnaro, Daniel Morris
and Jim Stinnet among others, receiving the U.S. Scholarship
Tour and the Outstanding Performer awards while ar Berklee. A resident
of the Bay Area since the fall of 1999, Mr. Sierra has performed with
such local musical greats as John Santos, Jesus Diaz, Orestes Vilato,
Mark Levine and
Michael Spiro.
